Outdoor Workout

As I have mentioned before I love the gym and my training class Bodypump by Les Mills but one thing I would say comes almost just as close to being my favorite is a great power walk outside in nature either by the beach or in the mountains. There is just nothing better for the soul than to enjoy time outside in Mother Nature.

If you don’t like running which I don’t then a good power walk is the perfect option. What I love about is how peaceful it actually is, there is just no better way to unwind from a busy or stressful day or week than to heat out in nature. One thing is walking but being outside just embracing the wonderful nature and taking the beautiful views in just has a relaxing effect on you. That’s what I really enjoy on my power walks which I do every week.

Since I live in Marbella by the coast I have absolutely fallen in love with the beach walks along the coastline, it’s such a scenic place having the most amazing views all around looking at the ocean and mountains and the beauty of palm trees, cactuses, flowers and the blue sky. It’s just so stunning and at the same time getting a great workout as you can literally walk as short or as long as you want. The boardwalk is over 30km long up and down the coast, I normally like to do around a 10km power walk and since there are many small beach bars and cafe’s along the coast you can have a little break sipping on a fresh pressed juice.

So, walking doesn’t have to be boring and what I also love about it is the freedom. You can walk alone, with family, friends or a loved one. You decide how long and where you want to walk. It’s perfect for some “me time” to be alone and take a break to think something trough or if there is something on your mind you need time to process or find a solution. Going out in nature clears the mind and slows life down – like pausing for a minute and then you come home feeling much better than before. Workout in nature is like medicin for the mind, soul and body 🙂

  1. Hey There. I found your blog using msn. This is a really well written article. I’ll be sure to bookmark it and return to read more of your useful info. Thanks for the post. I will certainly return.

  2. First of all I would like to say excellent blog!

I had a quick question in which I’d like
to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find
out how you center yourself and clear your mind
before writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my
    thoughts out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but
it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying
figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?

    1. Thank you so much for your thoughts, I’m happy to hear you enjoy my blog. I always plan ahead what I am going to blog about so I know days in advance and it gives my time to think about it. Then before writing I always set aside a specific amount of time, clear out any external noise and cozy up in a calm and quiet place to have silence to clear my mind and then I start writing. I hope these tips can help you in your writing
